A Solution for Missing Teeth
Boasting a high success rate and the ability to last a lifetime, dental implants are truly an investment in a better smile.
Many patients choose dental implants to replace their missing teeth because they:
Preserve Your Aesthetics
There are essentially three choices when it comes to replacing missing teeth: The dental bridge, dentures, and dental implants. Of those, only dental implants have the ability to keep your jawbone from shrinking. This is because they provide sufficient stimulation to the jaw.
Can Last a Lifetime
Dental implants last longer than other tooth restorative treatments. While the other remedies are known to last around 5-10 years, dental implants can last a lifetime if properly maintained.
Are Easy to Maintain
Unlike dentures which must be removed for cleaning, dental implants are a permanent part of your smile. Care is easy and all you have to do is brush and floss your implants the same way you would with your natural teeth.
Restore Complete Chewing Power
How important is it to eat the exact foods you want? With dental implants, chewing the toughest foods like steak or corn on the cob is never a problem. Completely integrated into your jawbone, dental implants are the strongest restoration available.

Single Dental Implants
If you’re missing one tooth we can replace it from root to crown with a single dental implant. The implant post is placed in the jawbone where it takes the place of the missing tooth’s root and serves as a foundation for your customized replacement tooth. Single dental implants can also be used if you’re missing several, non-adjacent teeth.
Same Day Full-Arch Replacement – DIEM Method
Dental implants can also be used to stabilize a full-arch denture. In fact, many people choose to upgrade from standard dentures to implant-stabilized dentures due to their increased security and natural feel, function, and appearance. At Artistry in Dentistry, we use the DIEM method for full arch replacement, allowing us to place the denture the same day as implant surgery.
DIEM is similar to All-on-4, which uses only four strategically placed implants to attach a full denture. However, the DIEM Method isn’t limited to just four implants. This solution can use anywhere from six to eight implants to support the prosthetic, depending on the needs of the patient.
We use implants from Zimmer Biomet Dental that feature a tapered design which allows us to place them in areas of the jawbone that wouldn’t normally be able to support them due to diminished bone density. For this reason, the DIEM Method is recommended for patients who have experienced significant bone loss which is common in longtime denture wearers.
